For all our technical work, Be Specific Consulting follows a simple four phased methodology emphasising a business orientated approach.
Phase 1: Assess
Assessment should be a thorough investigation into your current position, taking into account all aspects from IT and the business in general to meet your objectives. Our aim is to collaborate with those who work with the systems daily to unlock the information needed to plan for any changes without nasty avoidable surprises.
The information obtained during this discovery stage allows analysis of the current situation and highlights many steps required to reach to the end goal. We aim to remain technology agnostic until we determine your exact requirements.
Phase 2: Plan
For the planning phase, once information has been gathered, we propose a high level implementation plan for approval. Upon sign-off we extend this plan into a complete set of low level design documents which allows for a rapid, smooth and structured build phase. We always revisit the original assessment to ensure the plan is exactly in line with your requirements. Furthermore, we seek to accomplish this in a manageable, scalable and cost efficient manner.
Phase 3: Build
When entering the build phase, the implementation plan is closely followed. Checks are carried out against planning criteria to ensure that your requirements have been met.
The delivery of the project is accompanied by fully revised documentation for each area of the solution with any tools required for on-going management.
Phase 4: Manage
We start any project by assessing your aims. We visualise your end goal and propose technologies that will work within your environment for you. In the next step, we build the solution using the knowledge learned about your business to carefully implement changes. This naturally progresses to a manage phase where the solution can be maintained by Be Specific Consulting or handed over to your team with extensive knowledge transfer and documentation.
Be Specific Consulting can provide on-going management services for any solution built by our consultants, whether on the Bureaucloud Platform, in our data centre space, on your premises or elsewhere in the Cloud. This management may be full or partial with a clear scope of responsibilities defined in the Service Level Agreement. By supporting the systems we build, you can extend your infrastructure without your team needing to extend skillsets. Your focus can then remain on your core activities whilst we look after the platform.
We can provide monitoring, reporting and alerting systems which provide current and historical insight into the system at all times. All changes are carried out under controlled conditions when necessary. Additionally maintenance is arranged at your convenience to ensure your business experiences minimal disruption.
